15th Annual OCA Mentorship Graduation

We’ve wrapped up our 15th annual OCA Las Vegas Mentorship Program last month, celebrating the achievement of 20+ high school and college students as well as young professionals who engaged in workshops geared towards their leadership development and personal growth.

This group of brilliant AANHPI mentees have spent the past few weeks rooted in reflection, identity, and community. Through the theme, Resilience Through Storytelling, the mentees explored how our histories are carried in language, silence, and memory which shapes who we are and how we lead.

Each mentee interviewed their mentor about what resilience means within the context of their lived experiences as AANHPI individuals navigating culture and belonging. These conversations were transformed into a powerful audio exhibit as a space where our community could listen deeply and bear witness to stories that are often held quietly but with incredible strength.

In so many AANHPI traditions, storytelling is not just an art — it is a responsibility. A way to pass on lessons, honor our ancestors, and make space for those who come next.

Thank you to our program sponsors Arcata Associates, OCA National, UPS, and State Farm for making this year’s program possible.
