The 58th session of the Nevada legislative updated past verbiage by changing the designation of traditional Chinese medicine to traditional Oriental medicine; revising certain fees and recording requirements for examination and licensing; authorizing a code of ethics; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

“The practice of [Chinese] traditional Oriental medicine and any branch thereof is hereby declared to be a learned profession, affecting public safety and welfare and charged with the public interest, and therefore subject to protection and regulation by the state.”
