Cathey Kuo is a real estate advisor, investor and entrepreneur, as well as the owner of Kyou Beauty Spa.

Why did you join OCA?

I joined OCA because the organization’s main goal is to advance the economic and social well being of the AAPI community which I am passionate about. What I enjoy most about working with this organization are the countless opportunities to collaborate with and help cultivate, empower and support the current and next generation of business leaders.

What do you do professionally, and how does OCA benefit you?

Besides being a business owner and investor myself, I am a commercial real estate broker who specializes in working with other entrepreneurs and investors to help them achieve their goals. OCA benefits me as I have met amazing local business leaders who have become clients, friends, mentors, and even business partners. For example, I met my real estate business partner Lisa Song Sutton at an OCA charity gala several years ago… Together, we are launching Elite Homes Christie’s International Real Estate in Las Vegas this year!

Cathey Kuo is a real estate advisor, investor, and entrepreneur. She has extensive experience in commercial and residential real estate investments, property management, commercial leasing, investment sales, and 1031 exchanges.

After receiving her Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), specializing in Real Estate, from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business in New York City, Cathey began her career in Manhattan as an associate with CBRE. She was accepted into the prestigious Wheel Program at CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office. Upon completion of the program, she worked as an office leasing specialist focusing on the Midtown and Midtown South office markets and specialized in serving as a consultant to Nonprofit Organizations as a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Practice Group.

Cathey relocated to Las Vegas in 2014 and has an excellent track record with local business owners and landlords in assisting them with their commercial real estate needs. Cathey currently handles leasing for just under 100,000 SF of office and retail space in the city.

In addition, Cathey is a seasoned entrepreneur and small business owner herself, as co-founder of Kyou Beauty, a Japanese salon & spa in Las Vegas’ bustling Chinatown district, and Empress All, a women’s e-commerce brand.

Cathey is an active member of the community and has served as an OCA board member since 2017. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and is thrilled to bring the Christie’s International Real Estate brand to Las Vegas this year with her business partner Lisa Sutton, whom she met at an OCA charity gala a few years ago.
