The United States Commission on Civil Rights is seeking people who are passionate about civil rights to join one of its State Advisory Committees.
Members volunteer to share their knowledge about local and state civil rights issues, learn more about the government, and to advocate for their communities.
The Advisory Committees also conduct their own investigations, hold fact-finding hearings, and produce reports that advise federal, state, and local policy-makers on pressing civil rights issues.
