Monica Souza Sue is a Physics senior at UNLV. Monica began their journey with OCA-Las Vegas as a mentee in the 2024 Mentorship Program and continues to contribute actively. Community is central to Monica — nothing feels stronger than collective support. Though Monica is not AANHPI, their commitment to allying with OCA remains strong, with efforts primarily centered on creating lasting bonds uniting communities, and supporting those who need a helping hand. This is because progress is a tool best wielded together; and change cannot occur without all of our efforts.
